Over 12,000 years ago, West African spiritual tradition gave birth to a binary mathematical system that would travel through Islamic scholars, European philosophers, and eventually become the foundation of every computer, smartphone, and digital device on earth today.

This limited edition 17" × 39" educational poster traces that documented journey from the IFA/AFA divination system of the Yoruba, Igbo, Fon, and Ewe peoples (recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage) to Leibniz, Boolean Algebra, and the IBM computer.
